THE NATURAL STONES

The natural stones

1- Granite .

The structure of granite:  quartz, mica, fenspat.

The structure of granite is crystalline, from smooth to rough, with a dense texture, so the stone has high hardness, scratch resistance, waterproofing, smoothness, and good heat resistance. Usually polished or polished.

2- Standstone

Sandstone is a form of sandstone combined with cement due to the process of sediment formation. The stone is usually white, gray, red, brown, yellow-brown. The stone has a small natural opening in the surface.

3 -Slate stone

Slate stone  is a sedimentary, fine-grained, interlaced and stacked rock. Slate is hard and has good weather resistance, resistant to temperature changes. The stone is rough, anti-slip.

4- Limestone,  bluestone – bazan stone

Limestone is usually ivory, gray or brown in color. Low to medium hardness, dense texture, smooth,..

5 -Travertine Stone

The same line of limestone but featured in the pits, small grooves on the surface. Usually filled with machining prior to finishing grinding or polishing.

 6- Onyx Stone

Onyx is often found in caves. The outstanding feature is that it can be light, clear, and colorful. Soft, porous and can stain.

7 Quartzite

Quartz stone is a hard stone, low in impurities, virtually impervious to water, more resistant to stains than granite, and has a sparkling surface thanks to quartz grains. Stones are usually white, gray, dark gray…

8- Marble

Marble belongs to the line of sedimentary rocks, composed of calcium carbonate. The stone is heat-resistant, hard, often fully honed, has a high luster, and is quite slippery. Marble often has beautiful wavy veins.

There are many different marble lines, popular like Calacatta, Carrara, Bianco, Nero, Marfil, Emperador, etc. with different tones and vein details. Marble brings a luxurious beauty when used for indoor tiling, stairs, decorative walls, ... and facade cladding.
